The new website
Welcome to the new site!
We're using Drupal, a very popular Content Management system, MySQL and PHP to manage the new site. This is a complete change of direction from the old technology which was based around Microsoft Active Server Pages, VBScript and an Access database.
We've transferred almost all the material on the old site to the new one, but some old content had to be left behind. Also, we decided to cutover with some known minor issues and we're working on those right now. The Tester Assessment Library has been split off and now has it's own site. If there's anything you can't find or you encounter a problem, do let us know using the contact form here.
Paul Gerrard's OLD blog is moving from the Test Management Forum website to a new location here: Paul Gerrard's Blog. This is the RSS feed for Paul's blog. We'll move old posts over time - if they are worth retaining.
We've added a few little goodies for trial purposes, surveys, what I'm reading, visitor locations counters will be kept as long as they are popular. Please test them out!
You will need an account on this site to access some of the content, in particular some papers and presentations. You can register on the site by following the Create a new account link towards the bottom of the page.
Finally, if you registered your email address on the old site, we'll be transferring that mailing list to the new site and sending out a notification email to you which will explain how you can manage that account. Instructions on how to remove yourself completely from the list will also be provided of course.
We invite you to browse the site and leave comments where you want to register an opinion.
Thank-you and we hope the site 'hits the spot!'
